The fantastic newly refurbished gyms at Stockport Sports Village and Life Leisure Grand Central are now open!

At Life Leisure, we really love what we do and the people we do it for. These gym renovations are a testament to our commitment to constantly improving and offering you the best health and wellbeing environment possible.

Here’s what you can expect to see in the new spaces:

Interactive equipment

Dive into a world of possibilities with our new immersive cardio equipment with interactive workouts and personalised training programmes. Whether you’re cycling on a virtual beach or conquering a challenging mountain trail, each workout will transport you into a realm of excitement!

Strength training

After conducting research and receiving feedback on what it is you want from the gyms, we’ve invested more in strength training equipment to provide you with the best possible workout space to achieve your goals. We’re talking dedicated cable areas, a brand-new range of weights machines and the introduction of kit the gyms have never featured before.

R1G powered by H1VE

Life Leisure Grand Central is now home to R1G Powered by H1VE functional training area and four new exhilarating gym floor classes. Explore a vast range of equipment, including battle ropes, kettlebells, ski ergs, and more.

RUMBLE Powered by H1VE

Our newest addition to the H1VE group training concept is now open at Stockport Sports Village! Bring the thrill of the ring to your workout routine with three new epic boxing inspired classes using punch bags, air bikes, weights, and more! Book now via the Life Leisure app or website.*

Simply open the Life Leisure app, select ‘scan or tap to check in’, scan your phone to enter the gym and start your workout! It’s all part of our ongoing commitment to improving the lives of others and making your experience with us as positive as possible. If you don’t have access to the Life Leisure app, please visit reception before heading up to the gym.
