Stockport Active Scheme

The Stockport Active Scheme is Life Leisure’s new access scheme which aims to provide support and access to health and wellbeing facilities. Whether you’re looking to get active, improve your fitness, or simply take steps towards a healthier lifestyle, our Stockport Active membership aims to help people in our community gain access to the facilities to achieve this. Proof of eligibility is required for this membership, so please ensure to have your relevant award letter to hand when joining online or in hub. This must contain both your name and address and have been issued within the last 12-months (with the exception of Universal Credit which must be dated within three months). Our Stockport Active Scheme direct debit membership provides access to the gym, swimming* and group exercise classes at all Life Leisure hubs:

  • Life Leisure Cheadle*
  • Life Leisure Grand Central*
  • Life Leisure Hazel Grove*
  • Life Leisure Houldsworth Village
  • Life Leisure Romiley*
  • Stockport Sports Village

This membership is priced at the reduced rate of £25.00 per month. Monthly direct debit (minimum three-month initial term contract)

There’s also the option to join on a pay as you go basis and receive discounted rates for casual gym and swim sessions at Life Leisure hubs.

Casual gym and swim visits on this concession are priced at £2.50 per session with the option to pay upfront for 10 vouchers. (vouchers must be used within 3-months of purchase)

All Stockport Active memberships require renewing after 12 months with updated eligibility.

Please note, membership is subject to approval of eligibility documentation. If your submitted documents don’t meet eligibility requirements, our Memberships team will be in touch to request a different form of documentation. Failure to provide will result in your membership being lapsed.
