On Saturday 23rd September, around 150 fitness enthusiasts took part in the H1VE F1VE event to reach a target of £555 in donations for mental health charity Mind. The energy was electric, the determination palpable, and the cause truly uplifting. This inspiring event saw participants push their limits by completing up to five back-to-back classes, all in the name of a brighter future for mental health.
Mind, a leading mental health charity, has been tirelessly working to provide essential support, education, and advocacy for those dealing with mental health challenges. With the pandemic’s profound impact on mental well-being, the need for such services has never been greater.
The event took place at the H1VE studio based at Stockport Sports Village, where fitness enthusiasts of all levels came together with a shared purpose. Participants embarked on a challenging journey that involved completing up to five consecutive classes, including high-intensity workouts, weightlifting and a much-needed stretching session.
The H1VE F1VE event went beyond just sweat and determination; it showcased the incredible power of community. Participants not only supported each other throughout the classes but also managed to reach and exceed our target of £555 for Mind.
As the H1VE F1VE event concluded, tired but triumphant participants left with a sense of accomplishment and a renewed commitment to supporting mental health initiatives. The event’s success not only raised vital funds but also highlighted the unbreakable spirit of a community that cares.
